How You Can Help

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada offers a chance to see your investment at work and an opportunity to join a team. There are several ways to help make a difference in the lives of our young members.

Donations: A gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada helps kids.  Your tax-deductible donation can help change the lives of children in Southern Nevada.  As our organization grows and expands, your support is vital.  Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada accepts both in-kind and monetary donations all-year long.  In addition, we hold several special fundraising events during the course of the year:
  • The Auction – our biggest fundraising event of the year, usually held in the late spring.  You can help support this effort in a variety of ways:
    • Be an Event Sponsor
    • Buy/Sponsor a Table
    • Donate or Sponsor an Auction Item
    • Volunteer on our Auction Committee
  • Campaign for Kids – our annual appeal, which provides the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada with unrestricted funding, allowing us to continue providing quality programming to southern Nevada youth.  Contributions to Campaign for Kids are made by individual donors, businesses or organizations in support of the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs. Campaign for Kids occurs in the last quarter of the year.
  • Golf Classic – Please join us for our annual Golf Classic, held towards the end of each year.  You can support this fun event in a variety of ways:
    • Be an Event Sponsor
    • Play in the Tournament – both teams and individual golfers may register
    • Donate a Raffle/Giveaway Item
    • Volunteer on our Golf Committee

In addition to our special events, you can also contribute to Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada in the following ways:

  • Bequests – Remember Boys & Girls Clubs in your will and estate plans.
  • Planned Gifts – Gifts of Securities or Property that can be designated for an annual program or restricted to the Endowment Fund.
  • In-Kind Gifts of goods or services for programs or administrative needs.

Volunteer: Share your time and talents with Club members and staff. If you have a particular skill, why not share it with a youngster? (Must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer.) Volunteer opportunities include:
  • Project Learn An after-school learning enhancement program. Volunteers are needed for tutoring and to help members with homework.
  • T-Ball League – The Kish Unit sponsors a t-ball league in the spring. Volunteer coaches and referees are needed to assist with this program.
  • Club Special Events – All of the clubs hold special events throughout the year.  Volunteers are needed to help set up and run these fun events that include holiday parties, family nights, teen nights, themed events, and more.
